Product Documentation
This documentation is relevant to the most recent version.
Anything outdated will not always work with this documentation.
For information on what has been added in recent versions or if there have been any updates, please view the version history for the Aileron Dispatch System.
Module Information
All modules require the Base System. If it does not have the base system, you will not be able to use them.
What's This Module For?
The Dispatcher Module allows for dispatchers and emergency responders to actively respond to phone calls within their network. This will allow for them to make 911 calls without having to use a group chat. 911 calls can be made from Cell Phones or Call boxes.
Item Information
This will list all items that are included with the base system and their features.
It will also include the uses and descriptions of all the items. This will help you better in using the items to their greatest potential.
Setting Up Your Dispatch System
When you are getting ready to setup your dispatch network, you will need to find a permanent place to put your cell phone tower. If the cell phone tower is remove later, anyone can place another tower and claim your region for their network. Once you have placed the tower, you will need to enter the name of your Aileron network that you plan on using and it will be setup and configured.
Dispatch Desk
In order to use the system, you will need the dispatch desk. This will allow for Phone Calls to be received. With this device, you will need to have it rezzed out and configured next to your server.
Receiving Calls
When someone makes a 911 call, the phone calls go into your network cell tower, then are sent to every dispatch desk that's configured to your network. If you have a cell tower in region "Mayfield", but your call center is in a different region, you will still receive all the calls from that sim.
Answering Calls
Once someone has made a 911 call from either the Emergency Box or Cell phone, the lights on the desks will start flashing red. 'Any desk configured to your network will flash red.' Once the call is answered, the flashing on all the desks and the desk that answered the call will have a green light.
Once the light is green, you will now be connected to the caller and will be able to talk to them on the channel.
Emergency Call Box
The Emergency Call Box is able to be placed on the ground and can be used to make calls into the dispatch center. Once a dispatcher picks up the phone, then the call can be initiated.
Emergency Cell Phone
The Emergency Cell Phone is an item that can be given out to anyone to allow them to make 911 calls without having to use the emergency call box.
Making a 911 Call
To make a 911 call, simply wear the HUD and select "Dial 911". If there is no cell tower in your region, then you will not be able get service and the cell phone will not connect to a dispatch desk.
